Star numbers on Arizona Indian tokens
As is the case for other Western souvenir gold series, Star 1 is the first star northwest
of the date. On the image, the red arrow points to star 1.
Star 2 is the closest star in a clockwise direction, and so forth.
Star number assignments are necessary for concise description of die states.
