This die variety, and the one that follows (ASRF-4) have a different style than
ASRF-1/2, which suggests a different engraver. Neither die variety (both are very rare)
was known to
Jay Roe (1990) or Mike Locke (2001).
Pick-Up Points
ASRF-3 is readily identified by the W in Wah. It shows an extension of the left upright above
the serif.
